R Boyd's debut album with Dusk- High Country Skyway- introduced the world to his particular brand of gritty Northwoods country-folk escapism through down-home shuffle rhythms, pounding acoustic & electric guitars, and silky multi-layered vocal harmonies. His newest single for the JAC World imprint, Shoot The Moon is hardly different; a three and a half minute album outtake featuring 3/5 of Dusk with former Goodnight Loving/Jaill bandmate Andy Harris backing Boyd up together in Crutch Of Memory's studio live room. We crank it up and let the room sing with us- dreaming the world we want to live in. We implore you to escape the gloom and dream along.
